MK Search & selection are currently working with a well respected M&E contractor with a strong national presence across the commercial, education and healthcare sectors delivering for leading main contractors who are looking for a mechanical project manager to join their scottish business unit.
Reporting to a contracts manager you will be given full autonomy to manage a £5.5m mechanical cat A & cat B fit out project in Glasgow with more projects across the region upcoming.
Getting involved pre-construction you will take control of a talented team before going to site to deliver the scheme to completion.
Duties
- Lead team meetings to engage, motivate, and improve performance.
- Report aspects of the project to clients, Directors, and any other relevant stakeholder.
- Liaise with Design & Coordination to ensure the delivery of design/working drawings capture any additional cost, programme delay, or external influence that may affect production.
Delegate activities within the project team, while building strong working relationships.
- Management of the procurement process.
- Be an advocate for best-practice health and safety.
