MK Search are currently working with a tier 1 MEP Contractor with a big presence in the commercial, data centre and industrial sectors who are experiencing a massive period of growth and are looking for an Electrically biased Project Manager for a 50m MEP value automotive project in Goodwood.
The company in question have a turnover of c. 150m and have operations across the UK, Ireland and Europe with a big presence in the data centre, commercial and life sciences sectors. You will be reporting into the Operations Manager and overseeing the project from early preconstruction phases allowing you to leave your legacy on the project.
You will be responsible for the overall financial management of your packages, the coordination of engineers and construction managers, liaising with the main contractor and the client and ensuring that all electrical packages are delivered to a high standard.
General Responsibilities:- Overseeing all stages of project life cycle including conception, design, development, and implementation.
- Managing and coordinating with project teams including engineers, designers, and technicians.
- Creating detailed project plans, schedules, and forecasts.
- Ensuring projects are completed in a timely manner and within budget.
- Identifying project risks and implementing mitigating strategies.
- Managing resources and materials necessary for project completion.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Ensuring the project adheres to safety regulations and industry standards.
- Conducting regular project review and creating detailed reports for executive staff.
- Coordinating and attending project meetings, and ensuring all team members are informed of project status and changes.
- Resolving any issues or delays in the project.
