A highly respected and well-established electrical contractor is looking to appoint an experienced LVAP / Testing Supervisor to support a growing portfolio of works across Gatwick Airport and wider commercial projects. The Role: You will play a key role overseeing electrical testing, commissioning, and LVAP responsibilities on live and critical environments within Gatwick Airport and associated projects. Duties will include:
- Supervising electrical testing and commissioning activities
- Acting as LVAP on live electrical systems
- Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with regulations
- Managing and coordinating testing teams on site
- Supporting project delivery teams with technical expertise
- Producing and reviewing testing documentation and reports
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety and compliance
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and senior management
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an LVAP / Testing Supervisor
- Valid LVAP authorisation/ticket
- 2391 Testing & Inspection qualifications
- Strong understanding of electrical testing and commissioning procedures
- Experience working within commercial or critical environments
- Ability to obtain airside security clearance for Gatwick Airport (existing airside pass/security clearance highly advantageous)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
