We are recruiting for an experienced QA Manager to join a leading UK M&E Contractor on a landmark residential development in the heart of Westminster.
This flagship scheme comprises 334 high-specification homes with a £20m MEP services package, delivering a technically complex installation across mechanical, electrical and public health systems.
Our client is a highly respected, long-established M&E contractor with a proven track record of delivering major projects alongside the UK’s most reputable Tier 1 main contractors. With exceptionally low staff turnover, they are known for rewarding performance, investing in their teams, and offering genuine long-term career progression.
The Role
As QA Manager, you will take full responsibility for the quality assurance and quality control processes across the MEP package, ensuring installations meet specification, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing, implementing and managing the project QA/QC plan
- Overseeing inspections and test plans (ITPs) across mechanical, electrical and public health services
- Conducting regular site audits and quality inspections
- Ensuring installations comply with drawings, specifications and industry standards
- Managing documentation including RFIs, NCRs, and quality records
- Coordinating with project managers, supervisors and subcontractors to maintain quality standards
- Supporting commissioning, snagging and handover processes
- Liaising with the main contractor and client representatives on quality matters
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience as a QA Manager or Senior QA Engineer within the M&E / Building Services sector
- Experience delivering QA on large-scale residential or mixed-use schemes
- Strong understanding of MEP systems including HVAC, electrical and public health
- Excellent knowledge of QA documentation, ITPs, and handover processes
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Relevant building services or engineering qualifications
- SMSTS/CSCS (preferred)
