MECHANICAL SITE MANAGER – TIER 1 M&E CONTRACTOR MK Search are currently partnenred with a Tier 1 M&E contractor, currently turning over £300million a year, who are looking for strong mechanical site managers to join for a project in Central London. The project is a mix use commercial scheme, worth circa £30million in MEP value. They are one of the largest and fastest growing contractors in the UK and Europe, specialising in commercial, data centre, industrial, pharmaceutical and healthcare schemes. They currently have a large log book of work to follow the completion of this project, giving you the chance to progress within the business as they grow. The role will involve: * Coordinate and supervise day-to-day mechanical installation activities on-site. * Manage direct labour and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project plans and safety standards. * Liaise with clients and main contractors, project managers, and other site trades. * Monitor and enforce health & safety compliance, including RAMS, toolbox talks, PPE checks, and site inductions. * Track progress against programme, identify risks or delays, and report to project * management. * Maintain accurate site records including daily diaries, time sheets, and material / plant requisitions. * Participate in site meetings and inspections, including snagging and handover preparations * Read and interpret drawings to ensure installations capture design construction * Issue drawings and specifications. * Management of orders for pipework fittings and hire of plant. * Assist with mechanical testing, commissioning support, and fault resolution. * Ensure works meets quality standards and regulatory requirements. Requirements: * Experience in HVAC and or full mechanical packages * CSCS card – Skilled Worker (Gold) or Supervisor (Black) * SSSTS or SMSTS (preferred or willing to obtain) * First Aid at Work (preferred) There is sign off for attractive pay + packages on the role and it is an urgent requirement so please apply today if it is of interest
