Mechanical Site Manager Role – £8million M&E Scheme MK Search are working with a growing yet well established M&E contractor who have a strong reputation in the commercial, industrial, education, and healthcare sectors. They are looking to engage with an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to join the team for an exciting project on the HQ for a large client. This is an opportunity to get a foot in the door with one of the UK\’s fastest growing M&E businesses who have a large logbook of work and looking to progress people withing the company, as they grow. Responsibilities: * Coordinate and supervise day-to-day mechanical installation activities on-site. * Manage direct labour and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project plans and safety standards. * Liaise with clients and main contractors, project managers, and other site trades. * Monitor and enforce health & safety compliance, including RAMS, toolbox talks, PPE checks, and site inductions. * Track progress against programme, identify risks or delays, and report to project * management. * Maintain accurate site records including daily diaries, time sheets, and material / plant requisitions. * Participate in site meetings and inspections, including snagging and handover preparations * Read and interpret drawings to ensure installations capture design construction * issue drawings and specifications. * Management of orders for pipework fittings and hire of plant. * Assist with mechanical testing, commissioning support, and fault resolution. * Ensure works meets quality standards and regulatory requirements. Requirements: * NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Plumbing or Pipefitting * CSCS card – Skilled Worker (Gold) or Supervisor (Black) * SSSTS or SMSTS (preferred or willing to obtain) * First Aid at Work (preferred) * Full UK driving licence Interviews are starting next week, so please apply if you are interested and want to find out more
