Graduate Finance Analyst

MK Recruit is delighted to be working in partnership with a leading organisation to recruit a Financial Analyst. Reporting to the Divisional Head of Finance, you will play a key role in delivering critical business insights, supporting decision-making, and ensuring accurate financial analysis across a fast-paced trading environment.

What You\’ll Do

• Provide daily analysis and monitoring of contract results against standard costings, highlighting exceptions and performance variances.
• Deliver detailed financial reporting and commentary to senior management and commercial teams.
• Maintain and update standard costings as needed, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
• Support foreign exchange hedging activities.
• Review contract changes daily and assess their financial impact.
• Ensure accuracy of transactional and reference data.
• Assist the finance management team with ad hoc and project-based analysis.
• Collaborate with colleagues across finance to provide insights and support.

What We\’re Looking For

• A relevant degree qualification Mathematics, Statistics, or Finance
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• A creative and proactive problem-solver.
• Advanced numeracy and strong organisational skills.
• A true team player with excellent communication abilities.
• Advanced IT proficiency, especially in Excel.
