Accounts & Administration Assistant
Location: Bletchley, Milton Keynes Salary: £14ph-£14.50ph Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm Job Type: Temporary, with the potential to become permanent
MK Personnel Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts & Administration Assistant to join a small, friendly team based in Bletchley.
This is a varied, hands-on position suited to someone with previous accounts experience who is confident working across sales ledger, purchase ledger and general accounts administration.
Our client is looking for someone who can hit the ground running , although support and training on company-specific processes will be provided.
As this is a small team, everyone gets involved when needed. The successful candidate will therefore need a flexible, hands-on attitude and be happy to assist in other areas of the business, including providing occasional support within the warehouse during quieter periods.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the Accounts email inbox and respond to queries
Raise customer invoices and issue monthly statements
Post and allocate customer payments
Chase overdue accounts and ensure credit accounts remain within agreed terms
Process purchase ledger invoices and flag any discrepancies
Match supplier invoices against relevant documentation
Prepare BACS
