Between approximately 2:00pm and 6:00pm, depending on the delivery route MK Personnel are recruiting for
reliable and hardworking Driver's Mates
to join a busy distribution company based in the MK42 area of Bedford. We are looking for people who genuinely want to work 5 days a week. Reliability and attendance are extremely important for this role. You must be able to commit to
Monday to Friday every week , be ready to start work at
6:00am , and be flexible with your finish time. Some routes may finish around 2:00pm, while busier or longer routes may continue until approximately 6:00pm. The Role Working alongside a delivery driver, you will help deliver drinks including beer, wine, spirits and soft drinks to pubs, bars, restaurants and hotels. This is a
physical, fast-paced and customer-facing role
involving multiple deliveries throughout the day. Your duties will include: Assisting the driver with multi-drop deliveries Loading and unloading stock, including kegs, cases and crates Helping move heavy items safely into customer premises Assisting with route navigation and directions Acting as a banksman when required to help with vehicle manoeuvring Checking deliveries against orders Using paperwork and handheld devices/scanners Providing good customer service when making deliveries Following health and safety procedures at all times What We're Looking For You do not necessarily need previous Driver's Mate experience, but you
must have the right attitude and work ethic . You will need to be: Reliable with excellent attendance Able to commit to
5 days per week, Monday to Friday Able to reliably get to work for a
6:00am start every day Flexible with finish times – you could finish anytime between
2:00pm and 6:00pm Physically fit and comfortable with
regular heavy lifting Hardworking and willing to get stuck in Comfortable working at a fast pace A good team player Polite and professional when dealing with customers Comfortable using basic handheld technology Important This is
not a role for someone looking for occasional shifts or just a few days' work each week . The client needs a dependable team, so
