MK Personnel Solutions are recruiting for Class 2 Drivers to join our client, based in Bedford. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company offering ongoing work with the potential to go permanent.

Working Days: Monday to Friday

You will be working with a Drivers Mate, performing multi-drop deliveries to customer premises, delivering alcohol products, including kegs (physically demanding role).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver orders safely, on time, and in full to customers
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks in line with SOPs
  • Ensure full compliance with Tachograph and driving regulations
  • Assist with loading and unloading in line with depot practices
  • Complete all paperwork and EPOD tasks accurately
  • Maintain high standards of customer service at all times
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures, including PPE use
  • Secure loads correctly using straps and nets
  • Return empty kegs, damages, and returns to the depot
  • Keep vehicle cab and load area clean and tidy
  • Attend driver debriefs and communicate effectively with the transport team
  • Support warehouse duties where required
  • Direct and support the Drivers Mate when needed

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
  • Driver CPC & Digital Tacho Card
  • No more than 3 penalty points (no major endorsements)
  • Physically fit (heavy lifting involved - kegs)
  • Multi-drop experience preferred
  • Good communication and customer service skills
