My client is seeking an experienced and driven Pre-Construction Manager to lead the successful development of refurbishment, retrofit, decarbonisation and asset improvement projects from initial enquiry through to contract award. About the Role
As Pre-Construction Manager, you will be responsible for managing all pre-construction activities, ensuring high-quality, commercially viable and compliant submissions that support the continued growth. Working closely with clients, consultants, operational teams and supply chain partners, you will lead bids and tenders across a diverse portfolio of social housing refurbishment, retrofit and decarbonisation programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the pre-construction process from opportunity identification through to contract award.
- Coordinate tender submissions, pricing strategies and programme development.
- Develop strong relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with estimating, commercial and operational teams to deliver winning solutions.
- Manage risk assessments, value engineering opportunities and ensure compliance with regulations.
