Are you an experienced Bid professional looking to play a key role in driving business growth within the housing and construction sector? We are working with a highly ambitious and growing residential developer who is delivering a significant expansion programme over the next five years. As part of this growth, they are looking to appoint a Bids & Frameworks Manager to join their Partnerships team.
The Opportunity
This is a pivotal role where you will take ownership of the full bid lifecycle, leading high-quality submissions that secure new business opportunities across residential development and construction projects. Working closely with Pre-Construction, Commercial, Technical, Land and Delivery teams, you will ensure all submissions are commercially robust, compliant and aligned with the organisation's strategic growth plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Bid Management
- Manage end-to-end bid processes including PQQs, RFQs, tenders and framework submissions
- Develop compelling, high-quality written responses tailored to client requirements
- Lead bid kick-offs, workshops and review meetings
- Ensure all submissions are delivered on time and to a high standard
- Frameworks Management
- Identify and track upcoming framework opportunities across housing associations and public sector bodies
- Manage renewals and ensure ongoing compliance with KPI and reporting requirements
- Improve internal processes to enhance bid success rates
- Content & Quality
- Produce high-quality written content including methodologies, case studies and delivery strategies
- Maintain a central bid library and standard templates
- Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all submissions
- Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams to gather accurate project and technical information
- Engage senior stakeholders to shape win strategies and value propositions
- Support marketing input into submission design and presentation
- Market Intelligence
- Monitor procurement pipelines, competitor activity and market trends
- Provide insight into strategic bidding opportunities
- Governance & Performance
- Track and report on bid performance, win rates and outcomes
- Ensure compliance with internal governance processes
- Drive continuous improvement across bidding activities
About You
- Proven experience in bid or frameworks management within construction, development or housing
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and residential construction
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Confident working with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
Desirable Qualifications
- APMP or similar accreditation
- Experience with public sector frameworks (e.g. housing or procurement frameworks)
- Knowledge of modern construction methods and sustainability practices
