Are you passionate about transforming the lives of young people through education?
Would you like to share your skills and knowledge with others and make a real difference in delivering Fairer Futures to those who have previously disengaged with education and are looking for a fresh start?
Milton Keynes College are looking to appoint knowledgeable and skilled staff to work with the young people enrolled in The Key. The Key will provide a discrete, low arousal environment that will remove barriers to learning and provide opportunities to gain success. Students will benefit from your invaluable support from a range of specialist staff and gain the skills and knowledge they need to support progression.
We are looking for an experienced individual, ideally with a background in youth work, to teach a range of units on Entry 3 and Level 1 courses and core subjects such as English and maths. The role involves contributing to curriculum design and delivery and working alongside a team of Course Team Leaders, Teaching Support Assistants and Wellbeing and Behaviour Coaches. While you donโt need expertise in every area, knowledge across several would be highly beneficial.
Learning takes place both inside and outside the classroom in The Key. You will be joining a passionate team committed to creating the best possible learning environment for every student. Get in touch today if you are a passionate and energetic individual looking to share your vocational and learned knowledge with a new generation.

THE Key
The centre is a newly established provision designed to offer an exceptional learning environment that supports young people in achieving both educational success and personal development. It brings together the expertise and specialist support necessary to enable learners to acquire the knowledge, skills, and confidence required to progress into further education, training, or employment. Many learners in The Key have faced challenges that have led to disengagement from education or placed them at risk of doing so. Opportunities like this can make a significant and lasting difference to the lives, confidence, and future aspirations of these young people - supporting them to re-engage and achieve their potential.
