Milton Keynes College Prison Services Team at HMYOI Aylesbury are seeking innovative Teachers to work with a diverse group of learners, helping to build their confidence, develop their skills and achieve within a college environment. The College are looking for candidates interested in variable/ad-hoc and permanent hours, who are keen to explore Prison Education.
Prison education runs all year-round, all-day Monday-Thursday and until lunchtime on a Friday.
Delivery hours vary slightly prison to prison, but full days are split across 2 long lessons (Morning and Afternoon).
HMP Aylesbury are currently looking for:
- Multi-Skills Tutor
- Sports Tutor
We’re also keen to hear from individuals with one or more of the below skillsets to support our curriculum delivery. Ability as a generalist to cover more than one of these areas would be beneficial.
- Occasional Workers
- Health & Safety
- Business
- Maths and English
- Occasional Support Workers
- Inclusion
- Library
- Administration
A teaching qualification would be desirable, however those willing to work towards a teaching qualification who hold supporting subject specialism or industry experience would also be considered - we can provide the training to help you achieve your full potential.
