MK College Group is seeking a motivated and learner-focused Personal Finances Lecturer (12-month FTC) to deliver the NCFE Level 1 Managing Your Money qualification at HMP Fosse Way. In this rewarding role, you'll help learners develop the practical skills, knowledge, and confidence to manage their finances effectively, supporting successful resettlement and independent living. Learners are typically motivated, though many have experienced disrupted education, low confidence, or additional learning needs.
As a Personal Finances Lecturer, you will play a vital role in building financial capability and helping learners develop essential life skills that can positively impact their future. You will deliver engaging and inclusive lessons covering:
- Personal budgeting and financial planning
- Understanding income, expenditure, and saving
- Banking and financial services
- Credit, borrowing, debt, and financial responsibility
- Consumer awareness and informed financial decision-making
Sessions are designed to be engaging, practical, and relevant, encouraging learners to apply their knowledge to real-world situations while providing the structure and support needed to achieve success.
