As a Digital Lecturer, you will be actively engaging prison-based learners through the delivery of creative classes and engaging resources. You will be teaching a range of digital programmes for those requiring upskilling in ICT and those who are interested in building digital skills for business and life. Learners have diverse needs and have often had negative experiences with education; as a successful digital Teacher you will inspire them and provide a positive learning experience that can make a difference in the present and future.
The role will involve working with learners from all backgrounds in different settings, either classroom‑based or in smaller groups across the prison. You will connect with learners in a professional manner, support them with their learning, and enable them to achieve success through qualifications and the development of confidence and softer skills applicable to employment.
Salary: £25,388 per year – Permanent, Part‑time.
