MK College Group is proud to offer an exciting opportunity for a passionate and creative English Lecturer to join our team at HMP Rochester. In this rewarding role, you will engage and inspire learners through imaginative teaching methods and high-quality, stimulating resources. You will deliver a Functional Skills English programme tailored to adult learners, supporting them to strengthen their verbal and written communication, build confidence, and develop a genuine enjoyment of reading.
As a dedicated English Lecturer, you will play a key role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that inspires learners and makes a meaningful difference – not only during their time in custody, but also in shaping their future opportunities. Working with learners from a wide range of backgrounds, you will build strong, professional relationships that support individual learning journeys. You will help learners achieve success beyond qualifications by developing their confidence and essential soft skills, preparing them for employment and further education.
We are looking for an individual who can communicate effectively, motivate learners, and encourage them to progress and achieve their full potential.
