This exciting range of ongoing and upcoming work is driving a need for additional, experienced earthing and lightning protection engineers. The role is for a Senior Earthing / Lightning Protection Consultant. The engineer will be responsible for designing and assessing Earthing and Lightning Protection Systems, ensuring quality, safety, and economic design. Day-to-day tasks will involve using CDEGS earthing design and Furse StrikeRisk lightning risk software, producing engineering safety calculations and technical reports, liaising with our clients, carrying out field tests and attending site meetings.
We are looking for those with:
- an electrical engineering degree or HND
- at least 5 years experience with CDEGS earthing design software and/or lightning protection design risk assessment tools
- excellent report writing and customer relationship skills
- proven project management and commercial capabilities
