We have earthing projects from 11kV substations to 400kV high-profile new-builds and lightning protection projects from new apartment blocks to huge industrial sites with hazardous atmospheres. This exciting range of ongoing and upcoming work is driving a need for additional, experienced earthing and lightning protection engineers. The company focus is on providing best-in-class engineering safety advice, and building long-term Client relationships and an experienced, well-respected team.

Role Description

The role is for a Senior Earthing / Lightning Protection Consultant. The engineer will be responsible for designing and assessing Earthing and Lightning Protection Systems, ensuring quality, safety, and economic design. Day-to-day tasks will involve using CDEGS earthing design and Furse StrikeRisk lightning risk software, producing engineering safety calculations and technical reports, liaising with our Clients, carrying out field tests and attending site meetings.

We are looking for those with an electrical engineering degree or HND and at least 5 years experience with CDEGS earthing design software and/or lightning protection design risk assessment tools, excellent report writing and customer relationship skills and proven project management and commercial capabilities.

Full and part-time positions, flexible working, profit-related pay and bonus options are available and no requirement to waste time and pollute the planet commuting to an office. Applicants should be UK-based and able to attend Client and Company meetings and assist with site inspections / testing as required.
