We are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy warehouse and distribution operation on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual looking for long-term employment with a growing company.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of a Counterbalance Forklift Truck, loading and unloading deliveries, moving stock within the warehouse, and supporting general warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading deliveries and vehicles
- Moving stock and materials around the warehouse/site
- Stacking and storing products correctly
- Carrying out stock checks and inventory duties when required
- Assisting with general warehouse duties
- Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed at all times
- Keeping the warehouse clean and organised
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence/Certificate (RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent)
- Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift
- Good understanding of warehouse health & safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
- Flexible approach to work duties
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience
