A fast-growing specialist lender is entering an exciting new growth phase following significant institutional backing and is now looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to help drive the next stage of expansion. This is a genuine opportunity to join an ambitious, entrepreneurial lender with a strong appetite to grow market share across the bridging and specialist lending sector. We’re looking for someone commercially sharp, relationship-driven and highly connected within the bridging market - someone who understands how to originate quality business, manage deals through to completion and become a trusted partner to brokers and introducers.

The Opportunity

You’ll play a key role in developing and expanding broker relationships, originating new business and supporting transactions from initial enquiry through to completion. Working closely with underwriting and leadership teams, you’ll have real influence within a collaborative and fast-paced environment where good ideas are encouraged and decisions happen quickly.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Developing and managing relationships with brokers, introducers and direct borrowers
  • Originating bridging and specialist lending opportunities
  • Assessing initial deal viability including security, exit strategy and overall structure
  • Managing deals through the full sales lifecycle alongside underwriting teams
  • Representing the business within the broker and property finance market
  • Supporting wider sales strategy and growth initiatives

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience within bridging finance or specialist lending
  • Existing broker network / “black book” within the market highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of bridging products, deal structures and underwriting principles
  • Ability to assess deals commercially and identify viable opportunities quickly
  • Self-motivated and comfortable operating within a high-growth environment
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Someone who enjoys being hands-on and part of a scaling business journey
