Role Overview
We are seeking a highly capable Electrical Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a £3 million electrical package on a major London project located near Victoria Station. The successful candidate will lead the project from inception to completion, ensuring all works are delivered to client specifications, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full life cycle of the electrical package from pre-construction through to handover.
- Oversee site operations, subcontractors, and supply chain to ensure smooth progress.
- Coordinate with the main contractor and other trades to resolve issues and maintain programme.
- Develop and monitor project programme, costs, and quality metrics.
- Ensure all installations comply with relevant standards and health & safety requirements.
- Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and client stakeholders.
- Manage variations, design changes, and technical queries efficiently.
- Foster a team environment that encourages collaboration and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager, ideally in commercial or residential projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and installation practices.
- Ability to manage projects in excess of £3 million.
- Solid understanding of construction processes, design management, and coordination.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- CSCS/SMSTS and relevant electrical qualifications essential.
- Highly organized with excellent time-management abilities.
