MJMK is entering an exciting phase of growth, with new restaurant openings ahead and great people at the heart of it. We are looking for a Senior Recruitment Manager to drive recruitment across the group: someone out there every day finding brilliant hospitality talent, championing MJMK and filling our restaurants with people who make them special.

This role is made for someone from an operations background who knows intricately what every site role involves, from KP to GM, because they’ve worked alongside them all. You might be a General Manager ready to step off the floor and focus on recruitment full time. Above all, you are obsessed with restaurants and hospitality, and it shows in every conversation you have with a candidate.

This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role. You will own the full recruitment journey, sourcing, screening, interviewing and placing, making sure every role is filled with the right person at pace, and every candidate feels valued and excited to join us from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive recruitment across all MJMK restaurants and the support office, owning every hire from first contact through to their induction.
  • Proactively source and headhunt through LinkedIn Recruiter, The Caterer and your own networks, building pipelines before roles even open.
  • Run screening calls and interviews with care and pace, using your operator's eye to assess real fit.
  • Champion MJMK, so the best people in hospitality want to build their careers with us.
  • Partner with Operations and heads of department on workforce planning and hiring.
  • Stay close to the restaurants, so you know every team, culture and who will thrive where.
  • Own the ATS, job boards and job descriptions, keeping open roles and content accurate and on brand.
  • Coach managers to hire brilliantly and keep everything, from pipelines to offers, impeccably organised.

What We're Looking For

This role is for someone who genuinely loves recruitment, not just managing it, but doing it, and who brings a true operator's eye to every hire. You will bring:

  • A genuine obsession with restaurants and hospitality, you live and breathe it and it’s infectious.
  • A solid operations background, ideally at GM or senior site level, so you know intricately what every role involves.
  • Recruitment or talent experience, whether in a dedicated role or building brilliant teams as a hiring manager.
  • A natural headhunter's instinct and a real love of interviewing, energised by finding great people and placing them perfectly.
  • Pride in selling MJMK, getting candidates genuinely hooked on who we are.
  • Energy, drive and positivity, a warm presence naturally aligned with our culture.
  • A values-led approach with an eye for cultural fit, clear communication and strong stakeholder skills.
  • Impeccably organised and data-confident, with a hands-on, solutions-focused mindset that thrives at pace.

What we offer

  • 50% team discount across all MJMK restaurants.
  • Up to 500 team referral bonus.
  • Opportunity to grow within one of London’s most ambitious hospitality groups.
  • Enhanced maternity and paternity pay after one year with us.
  • Paid company sick pay after one year, up to 5 days.
  • Extra days holiday every year you’re with us, up to 5 extra days.
  • Mental health and well-being assistance via Hospitality Action, offering free advice and counselling.
  • Enhanced pension contributions after 5 years with us.

About MJMK Restaurants

MJMK Restaurants owns and operates a collection of award-winning restaurants. Founded in 2018 by lifelong friends Jake Kasumov and Marco Mendes, our journey began with Casa do Frango.

In 2020, we partnered with chef patron Santiago Lastra to open KOL, a restaurant in Marylebone celebrating Mexican cuisine with British ingredients. KOL has since earned a Michelin star and been named one of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants.

2024 saw two new ventures: Fonda, a contemporary Mexican concept in Mayfair, our second collaboration with Santiago Lastra, and AngloThai in Marylebone, a debut restaurant from husband-and-wife John and Desiree Chantarasak, blending Thai flavours with British ingredients. Within three months of opening, AngloThai earned a Michelin star.

In the 2025 National Restaurant Awards, AngloThai was named The Square Opening of the Year and ranked 7th in the Top 100 list, followed by KOL at number 50. Luso, a contemporary Portuguese restaurant in Fitzrovia, opened in September 2025.

We’re building ambitious restaurant brands with a focus on quality, creativity and guest experience, and we’re just getting started.
