About Casa do Frango:
Our journey began in 2018 with Casa do Frango London Bridge - a Portuguese grill concept inspired by Marco’s heritage and upbringing in Southern Portugal. Built around fresh, wood charcoal-grilled cooking in a warm, welcoming environment, it quickly became a neighbourhood favourite. Following this success, we expanded to Mayfair (2022) and Victoria (2023). We are now seeking a Head Chef for an exciting new Casa opening. You will play a key role in delivering outstanding guest experiences and supporting our continued growth. Since launch, Casa do Frango has received widespread critical acclaim, including praise from Jay Rayner and Marina O’Loughlin, and we remain focused on building something special for both guests and team members alike.
About MJMK Restaurants:
MJMK Restaurants operates a portfolio of award-winning restaurants. Founded in 2018 by Jake Kasumov and Marco Mendes, the group began with Casa do Frango. In 2020, MJMK partnered with chef patron Santiago Lastra to open KOL in Marylebone — a fine dining restaurant celebrating Mexican cuisine through British ingredients. KOL holds a Michelin Star and has been named among The World’s 50 Best Restaurants. In 2024, the group launched Fonda — a contemporary Mexican concept in Mayfair, and AngloThai — the debut restaurant from John and Desiree Chantarasak, blending Thai flavours with British ingredients. AngloThai earned a Michelin Star within three months of opening and was named Opening of the Year at the 2025 National Restaurant Awards Top 100 list. September 2025 saw the launch of Luso — a contemporary Portuguese restaurant in Fitzrovia — continuing the group’s expansion.
