Head of Financial Planning & Analysis – MJMK Restaurants

Location: Based 5 days a week in our London office, near Oxford Circus Tube

Position: Full-Time, office based

Salary: £75k to £85k depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial reporting and analysis to support business growth and profitability, and ensure we meet our budgets
• Identify opportunities for cost efficiencies and revenue growth
• Analysis of P&L variances to budget / prior year
• Lead the creation of annual budgets, rolling forecast, and capital expenditure forecasts and reporting.
• Provide financial reports and insight to the operations team as necessary
• Modelling of potential new sites / capex
• Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of KPI reporting
• Ownership of our 3 year plan model
• Support future fundraising
• Manage the production of the monthly board pack

What we’re looking for

– Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with at least 5 years of commercial finance experience within hospitality

– Proven track record analysing data to drive business performance. Previous roles might include Head of FP&A, Senior Analyst, or a similar senior role.

– Highly analytical with first class presentation skills. A real understanding of how to pull out key numbers, and present them to non-financial people in a way that influences behaviour

– An exceptional attention to detail

– Strong understanding of hospitality and its financial challenges.

– Passion for the restaurant industry and a commercial mindset.
