About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and skilled Gardener to help maintain and enhance a private outdoor space in the Helens Bay area. This is a part-time position, ideal for someone who takes pride in creating and maintaining high-quality gardens and landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plant, maintain, and care for trees, shrubs, flowers, and lawns.
  • Mow lawns, edge borders, and maintain turf areas.
  • Prune hedges, shrubs, and trees.
  • Weed, mulch, fertilise, and water planting areas as required.
  • Assist with general landscaping projects and seasonal garden improvements.
  • Operate, clean, and maintain gardening equipment and tools.
  • Identify and manage common plant diseases, pests, and weeds.
  • Keep all work areas clean, tidy, and well organised.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.
  • All other duties normally associated with the job title.

Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous gardening or landscaping experience.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A strong work ethic with attention to detail.
  • Good physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
