We are looking for a Senior BI Analyst / Developer to join our Group Business Systems team and play a key role in shaping how data is used across our organisation. This is an opportunity to work across multiple businesses and departments, delivering end-to-end data solutions that support both operational and strategic decision-making. You will work across the full data lifecycle, from understanding business needs and integrating source systems, through to data modelling and delivering intuitive data products and Power Platform solutions that enable users to take action. As part of our ongoing transformation, we are evolving from legacy SQL Server and SSAS architecture to a modern data platform built on Microsoft Fabric. You will be central to this journey, helping to design, build, and scale a high-quality analytics environment across the Group.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Delivering Insight & Data Products
    • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into actionable insights.
    • Design and deliver high-quality Power BI dashboards and reports that drive decision-making.
    • Build and optimise scalable, reusable data models using best practice principles.
    • Develop structured datasets that provide reliable, consistent access to business information.
  • Building the Modern Data Platform
    • Support the transition to Microsoft Fabric, including dataflows, Direct Lake datasets, and OneLake.
    • Contribute to the design of a governed, scalable data architecture across the Group.
    • Develop and maintain data pipelines and transformations using modern tools and approaches.
    • Help define and promote best practices in data modelling, performance, and usability.
  • Driving Digital Transformation
    • Identify opportunities to replace manual, paper-based, and spreadsheet-driven processes with digital solutions.
    • Work with business stakeholders to redesign processes using data and technology.
    • Deliver solutions that not only provide insight but enable real-time action and improved control.
    • Contribute to a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
  • Power Platform & Process Digitisation (Core Focus)
    • Design and develop Power Apps (Canvas Apps) to digitise manual, paper-based, and spreadsheet-driven processes across the business.
    • Build solutions that allow users not just to view data, but to capture, update, and act on it in real time.
    • Use Power Automate to streamline workflows, approvals, and operational processes.
    • Work directly with business users to design solutions that are intuitive, scalable, and widely adopted.
    • Play a key role in reducing reliance on Excel and improving data integrity across business processes.
  • Collaboration, Standards & Continuous Improvement
    • Partner with teams across finance, manufacturing, supply chain, and project delivery.
    • Contribute to data governance, security, and development standards.
    • Support structured development practices using tools such as Azure DevOps and Git.
    • Provide guidance and support within the team, including mentoring where appropriate.
    • Continuously identify opportunities to improve data, reporting, and processes.

    • 3-5 years experience in a Business Intelligence, Data Analyst, or similar role.
    • Strong Power BI skills, including data modelling, DAX, and report design.
    • Proven experience developing Power Apps (Canvas Apps) and Power Automate solutions in a business environment.
    • Good SQL skills and experience working with relational data.
