MJM is recruiting experienced Mechanical Fitters for Heathrow Airport on a long‑term basis.

Overview

A Mechanical / Maintenance Fitter will maintain automated systems to ensure productivity, efficiency and equipment availability.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain automated systems to a high operational standard.
  • Carry out fault-finding, reactive repairs, and planned preventative maintenance.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth system performance.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience installing and maintaining industrial-sized systems in an airport, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
  • Recognised mechanical qualification – City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 (or higher).
  • Mandatory valid CSCS Card.
  • Mandatory willingness to work compulsory rotation – days, nights, weekends.
  • Mandatory strong fault-finding skills and proactive safety-first mindset.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or automated environments.
  • 5-year checkable work history, required for Airside Pass clearance.
