Overview
A Mechanical / Maintenance Fitter will maintain automated systems to ensure productivity, efficiency and equipment availability.
Responsibilities
- Maintain automated systems to a high operational standard.
- Carry out fault-finding, reactive repairs, and planned preventative maintenance.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth system performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience installing and maintaining industrial-sized systems in an airport, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
- Recognised mechanical qualification – City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 (or higher).
- Mandatory valid CSCS Card.
- Mandatory willingness to work compulsory rotation – days, nights, weekends.
- Mandatory strong fault-finding skills and proactive safety-first mindset.
Desirable Experience
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or automated environments.
- 5-year checkable work history, required for Airside Pass clearance.
