The Role
As a Mechanical / Maintenance Fitter based at Heathrow, you will be responsible for maintaining automated systems to ensure maximum productivity, efficiency, and equipment availability.
Your Duties Will Include:
- Maintaining automated systems to a high operational standard
- Carrying out fault‑finding, reactive repairs, and planned preventative maintenance
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical faults
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth system performance
About You
- Proven experience installing and maintaining industrial‑sized systems (airport, logistics, or manufacturing environments)
- Recognised mechanical qualification - City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 (or higher)
- Valid CSCS Card - essential
- Flexible to work a rotating schedule of days, nights, and weekends
- Strong fault‑finding skills and a proactive, safety‑first mindset
Desirable Experience
It would be advantageous if you also have:
