About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join an experienced team at Heathrow Airport. In this key position, you will be responsible for ensuring all on-site equipment is installed safely, correctly, and is always fully operational.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment across the Heathrow site
- Conduct thorough testing and inspection of equipment to ensure full functionality and compliance
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to minimise downtime
- Work closely with operational teams and contractors to support safe and efficient site operations
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Ensure all work meets safety regulations, technical standards, and Heathrow compliance requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar service engineering role
- Time-served Mechanical and Electrical experience
- Strong technical knowledge with hands-on problem-solving capability
- 18th Edition qualification (essential)
- Experience testing and commissioning equipment on site
- Knowledge of Heathrow Airport operations (advantageous)
- Ability to work independently, safely, and to a high standard
