We are recruiting an experienced Panel Wirer to join an ever-growing, successful engineering company operating within the industrial and automation sector. This is a permanent opportunity offering excellent long-term stability.
The Role
You will be responsible for the installation, wiring, and termination of industrial-sized control panels, working to detailed electrical schematics and layouts. The role requires a high level of accuracy, organisation, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a Panel Wirer or Electrical Engineer within an industrial or automation environment
- Experience working with Siemens PLCs
- Strong experience installing and terminating electrical components
- Experience working on industrial-sized panels
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and panel layouts
- Valid ECS or CSCS card with a recognised electrical qualification
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team in a high-pressure environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to follow and relay instructions clearly
- Computer literate
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Good understanding of and compliance with relevant Health & Safety standards
Location
Based locally to Heathrow or within one hour’s commute
