Mechanical Fitter\\nHeathrow Airport\\n\\n£25.00 per hour\\nOngoing\\n\\nDays, Nights, Weekends\\n\\nUplifts in place for nights and weekends.\\n\\nThe Company\\n\\nMJM is currently recruiting experienced Mechanical Fitters to work at Heathrow Airport on a long-term basis.\\n\\nYou'll be part of a skilled team responsible for maintaining the mechanical integrity of Heathrow’s critical infrastructure—keeping systems running efficiently in one of the world’s busiest airports.\\n\\nThe Role\\n\\nAs a Mechanical / Maintenance Fitter based at Heathrow, you will be responsible for maintaining automated systems to ensure maximum productivity, efficiency, and equipment availability.\\n\\nYour duties will include:\\n\\n * Maintaining automated systems to a high operational standard\\n\\n * Carrying out fault-finding, reactive repairs, and planned preventative maintenance\\n\\n * Diagnosing and resolving mechanical faults\\n\\n * Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth system performance\\n\\nAbout You\\n\\n * Proven experience installing and maintaining industrial-sized systems (airport, logistics, or manufacturing environments)\\n\\n * Recognised mechanical qualification – City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 (or higher)\\n\\n * Valid CSCS Card – essential\\n\\n * Flexible to work a rotating schedule of days, nights, and weekends\\n\\n * Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive, safety-first mindset\\n\\nDesirable Experience\\n\\nIt would be advantageous if you also have:\\n\\n * Experience in a similar setting, manufacturing, industrial, or automated environment\\n\\n * A 5-year checkable work history, required for Airside pass clearance\\n\\nApply Now\\n\\nIf this sounds like the right opportunity for you, apply today to join a well-established team working in a critical Heathrow environment
