We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a successful and growing engineering company. This is a hands-on role involving scheduled maintenance, fault finding, repairs, and the installation and commissioning of equipment at customer sites in the UK and internationally. You’ll be working both independently and as part of a wider engineering team, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and within agreed timeframes.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled maintenance visits to customer sites
- Perform mechanical and electrical repairs and respond to breakdowns
- Install and commission equipment
- Fault find using electrical and mechanical drawings
- Complete all work within agreed timeframes
- Prioritise daily workload effectively
- Communicate clearly with customers and internal teams
- Participate in an on-call rota, including a mix of days and nights
- Travel within the UK and internationally as required
- Work overtime when business needs require
Essential Requirements
- Time-served engineer with an electrical qualification
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
- Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently using own initiative
- Team player with a strong focus on meeting deadlines
- Willingness to work on-call, nights, overtime, and travel as required
- Clean UK driving licence
- Live within 1 hour of Heathrow Airport

- 5-year UK checkable work history
