MJM Industrial is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to work directly for a global leader.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing scheduled maintenance visits, repairs, and addressing breakdowns as directed.
- Installing or commissioning equipment as per instructions.
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with company procedures, standards, safety policies, and within designated timeframes.
Essential Experience and Requirements:
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Skilled in identifying and troubleshooting problems or faults.
- Capable of prioritizing and planning work schedules in collaboration with the Service Coordinator.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Collaborative team player for multi-person tasks.
- Maintains a professional and neat appearance.
- Available for on-call duties and shift work.
- Willing to work overtime and travel as needed for business requirements.
- Holds a full, clean driving license.
- Experienced in using the company's Service Management system via smartphone to log attendance, conduct site surveys, and track equipment information.
Shifts & Compensation:
- 4 nights on, 4 off, 4 days on, 4 off roster pattern.
- Days (0600 - 1800) and Nights (1800 - 0600).
- Overtime rate after 12 hours.
Location: Home-based, within 45 minutes of London Heathrow Airport. Routine travel across the UK and occasional international travel.
Qualifications: Time served Engineer with one of the following: Relevant Electrical/Engineering Qualifications.
Additional Requirements:
- CRC (Criminal Record Check).
- Disclosure of Scotland (Certification).
- 5-year traceable UK work history.
