Our client is a renowned building consultancy steeped in history! Having always maintained a robust cost consultancy division; they’re seeking to hire a Quantity Surveyor to join their London office ASAP. The London office currently employs around 20 staff including a majority building surveying staff. Having recently hired a newly qualified quantity surveyor they’re now seeking to further bolster their team with a trusted pair of ‘PQS hands’ who can competently contract administrate on a variety of construction & property projects. You’ll require the necessary skills to assist with core pre & post contract duties. Current workload is all fully independent workload (of the wider business) and includes film studios, industrial property, commercial offices, Student accommodation and various Fire remediation projects, supporting local authorities. Candidates wanting to apply must have a minimum degree level in Quantity Surveying (MSc or BSc) and a minimum of 5 – 10 years’ experience. Preferably in a PQS environment. MRICS isn’t essential but desirable as our client is very well placed to assist those still going through their APC journey. This is a client facing role and those soft skills need to be demonstrable.
