Director – QS or PM (Data Centres) – Top London Property Consultancy
Our client is a leading corporate property consultancy in Central London with an impressive reputation for delivering complex, high-value construction projects within various real estate sectors. In line with their growth plans, they’re now seeking to hire a talismanic leader in the data centre field as a developing service line.
At Director / Project Director level, it will be your responsibility to drive the sector forwards and develop a sustainable team around you to deliver upon data centre led projects. Our client has significant support both technically and financially to facilitate a new income stream within this sector.
Initially, you’ll be responsible for leading, guiding, and advising a major global software giant with a new real estate framework contract. Coupled with your extensive industry connections, it will be for you to assist in the generation and securing of other related commissions.
The role involves delivering all aspects of construction project management consultancy services, from inception to completion. Your personal experience should encompass this.
Core Candidate Criteria:
- 8 – 10 years core data centre experience (construction) as either a Construction Project Manager or Quantity Surveyor
- Professionally qualified, RICS, CIOB, APM with supporting degree (UK awarded)
- Proven track record of managing & developing delivery teams; personal ability to manage and lead large project commissions, start to finish.
- Strong project briefing skills, design management consultancy, and H&S implementation.
- Exceptional organization skills (project team management skills expected)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to develop successful relationships with clients / stakeholders
- Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail
- Candidates applying MUST have eligibility to work in the UK; unfortunately, our client is unable to hire those requiring immediate VISA support
