About the role: Our client is a dynamic product design company, developing leading edge electronics and electro-mechanical products for a wide range of advanced consumer markets. They only work on ethical projects, often focussed on medical and healthcare related technology, and believe in making the world a better place. They are now looking to grow their electronics team with both Senior and Principal Engineers. In these roles you will be involved in developing electronic and electro-mechanical products that will make a real-world difference. You will have the opportunity to take a lead role across the full project lifecycle, from initial concept to product launch. These are hands on roles and, as such, will allow you to improve your own knowledge and experience, whilst working with the very latest technologies.
About you: Suitable applicants will have demonstrable experience in designing, prototyping and testing advanced electronic circuits and systems. You will be equally happy designing high level systems on a whiteboard, as you will be with a soldering iron in your hand in the lab. You will also have a strong/solid background writing embedded software (C/C++) for electronic systems and will be comfortable designing and implementing code as required. Any experience with the full electronic product design life cycle, as with project planning/resourcing/leadership would be highly desirable. A relevant degree from a leading University will also be required.
