Role Description
This full-time Principal / Senior Hydrogeologist Consultant role, working 37.5 hours a week, based in Atherstone, Warwickshire with a hybrid working arrangement, combining office presence with some work from home.
This is an exciting opportunity to apply your technical expertise to work on a diverse portfolio of technically challenging projects across the minerals, waste and environmental sectors.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver technical support across a wide range of hydrogeological and geological services
- Contribute to all stages of project delivery
- Prepare desk based studies, technical reports and quantitative risk assessments
- Develop hydrogeological models and remediation strategies
- Supervise site investigations and provide technical oversight of contractors and field teams
- Liaise effectively with clients, regulators and stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes
Skills and Experience
We are keen to hear from Hydrogeologists / Geologists with:
- A strong technical knowledge of hydrogeology, geology and environmental assessment
- Proven experience in groundwater assessment projects
- Strong technical report writing and communication skills
- A good knowledge of relevant environmental legislation
- Proficiency in hydrogeological modelling software
- Computer literacy and adaptability to new technologies
- Previous project management experience would be advantageous
Qualifications & Professional Background
- Degree (preferably MSc) in Geology or Hydrogeology related subject
- Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. Geological Society)
- Full UK driving licence
