We are currently recruiting for Poling Operatives to join our North Wales Team. As a Poling Operative, you will be responsible for the installation and removal of poles, including dressing new poles across the North Wales region. This is an entry‑level position, and all training will be provided. After an 18‑week training period, earning potential will greatly increase and will be discussed in further detail during a telephone interview. It is a subcontracting opportunity, with the course scheduled to start on 12.1.2026.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure

Key Responsibilities
- Replace decayed, damaged, or defective poles in the Openreach network
- Install new poles to support customer connections
- Ensure all work meets client specifications and safety standards
- Maintain driving standards and legal compliance
- Adhere to Health & Safety legislation and company/client policies
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience working in the Openreach network
- Groundworks or civils experience
- IPAF 1B NPORS N107 or equivalent
- Full NRSWA streetworks operative‑level qualification
- 360 Excavator operation
- PASMA certification
