Department Overview
MJ Quinn is a contractor for the provision of Mechanical, Electrical services. Our Facilities Management department manages a portfolio of buildings in both public and private sectors. The ideal candidate will come from a MEB background.
Primary Objective
Managing small works for the department. Involved in estimating of the works. Reviewing of RAM's for the works. Ensuring commercial information is kept up to date.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring good Stakeholder/client communication during works.
- Day to day management of engineers on the Projects.
- Working in highly sensitive areas under pressure.
Relationships
To be effective in this role the Small Works Manager will need to:
- Maintain and build up a good working relationship with internal and external stakeholders including colleagues, customers, suppliers, and senior management teams.
- Be able to work efficiently and effectively as part of a team.
- Communicate effectively with all other departments.
- Ensure that challenging corporate messages are delivered and supported through open communication.
