Overview
We are seeking a proactive and organised individual to support the delivery of fibre broadband infrastructure across the North West region on behalf of Openreach. This role is critical in driving performance against quarterly THP (Total Homes Passed) targets and ensuring seamless coordination across field teams.
The successful candidate will assist the Fibre Field Manager and field operatives in achieving delivery milestones, while maintaining a strong focus on health and safety in alignment with MJQ’s values and policies. Promoting a culture of safety, efficiency, and accountability, the role also involves identifying opportunities to improve processes and reduce costs, contributing to the project’s overall success and sustainability.

Responsibilities
- Support field supervisor and engineers in delivering THP on time and to a high standard.
- Ensure all HSQE practices are adhered to.
- Report progress to key stakeholders.
- Support the fibre field manager and field operatives in reaching agreed delivery targets
- Work to improve efficiencies to ensure the project is completed in the most cost-effective manner.
- Liaise with Partners, Stakeholders and Council
- Replanning works and creating supporting documentation to save costs
- Creating A55s for civils requirements
- Walk Pons and feedback fluidity requirements
Experience and skills
- Experience on the Openreach Network
- Experience in a similar role within the telecom industry
- Working to deadline
- Problem solving
- Working to specific deadlines
- Effective communication with stakeholders and back office
Qualifications
- Openreach safety accreditations inc. NRSWA 01, SA002, SA001.
- S13 & S11 an advantage but not essential
