Here at MJ Quinn we currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Noticing Coordinator to join the business. This position will be based at our head office in Knowsley, Liverpool.

Responsibilities of the role:
- To act as point of contact to deal with queries from the local authorities and MJQ operations team.
- Provides supporting evidence for any “DFE” concessions agreed by the customer.
- Submit notices on the “required by date” as requested from the operations team.
- Responsible for planning of works and ensuring all jobs considered at risk of failing its completion date are escalated at the earliest opportunity to allow the situation to be jeopardy managed.
- Work with the operations team with jeopardy management to help amend the plan when dates cannot be met.
- To liaise with internal departments within the business such as civils departments to ensure that all dependencies are met.
- Provide support for any project administrative duties as and when required.
- Managing the day-to-day work volumes for Noticing & Permits through our internal processes and systems.
- Follow the Street works notification as per Highways Authority guidelines and processes.
- Manage all works comments and associated modifications in a timely manner.
- Follow Noticing and Permit processes, using 3rd party sources and websites to obtain date certainty.
- Delivering excellent customer service to our customers to ensure the best customer experience.
- Assessing permit applications from operations staff to ensure all works are compliant with legislation and appropriate permit scheme conditions.
- Managing requests for extensions/amendments required for notices/permits.
- Communicating notice status to Operations.
- Receiving and recording timely starts, stops, and register activities to avoid financial penalty.
Experience:
- Working within an Office environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Competent on Microsoft packages.
- Permitting/noticing experience is preferred.
