MJ Quinn Integrated Service, Central & East London region (covering areas such as Stratford, Hackney and Islington).
Role Details
Salary: £37,000
Working Hours: 8:00am–8:00pm (Monday–Friday)
Company Vehicle: Provided (van)
Responsibilities
- As FTTP Area Manager in Service Delivery, lead a team of engineers, providing leadership, support, direction and feedback to achieve Service Delivery targets in the Central & East London region.
- Manage the team within budget constraints and seek opportunities to reduce cost and maximise bottom line revenue growth.
- Ensure all team members are skilled, kitted and accredited to the standards expected by the client.
- Manage performance and continuous improvement of team members through development, recognition, effective communications, field visits and FPQ checks.
- Ensure each team member is aware of targets and is committed to achieving them.
- Identify opportunities for multi-skilling and cross-project working to deliver an efficient and effective field structure across MJ Quinn.
- Ensure safety and quality checks are carried out in accordance with MJ Quinn policy.
Experience & Qualifications
- Managerial experience in a similar role (Telecommunications industry essential)
- FTTP background
- Full UK driving license (no more than 6 points)
- Computer literate
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Willing to undertake relevant training and development
Desirables
- Managerial/supervisor experience
- Knowledge of the BT network
- Understanding of the Fibre network
- Full UK driver\’s license
