Job Objective
We are seeking an enthusiastic Field Supervisor to join our company. This role involves overseeing fibre installation works across the Bristol area, ensuring all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with network standards. You will support the Field Manager in coordinating day-to-day operations and act as the first point of contact for fibre engineers in the field. A key part of the role includes providing regular updates on field progress to the back office and fostering strong working relationships with Local Highway Authorities (HA) to support smooth project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Liaise directly with suppliers
- Ensure all works are completed on-time safely and to quality standards
- Carry out a minimum of 2 weekly safety checks
- Attend meeting in person/remote to discuss work requirements and project targets
- Ensure all health and safety is met onsite and any near misses/ incidents are reported in the correct manner
- Conduct Safety checks on Partners/ Direct Labour
- Find solutions to complex issues onsite
- Liaise with Partners, Stakeholders and Council
- Replanning works and creating supporting documentation to save costs
- Creating A55s for civils requirements
- Walk Pons and feedback fluidity requirements
- Create ILCs where require.
Person Specification
- Build Experience on Openreach network (Desirable)
- Experience in a similar role within a Telecoms industry (Essential)
- Experience dealing with local authorities (Desirable)
- Full UK Drivers licence
- Proficiency in Excel and Outlook
- Ability to maintain professional relationships to facilitate collaborations and build relationships
- Critical Thinker
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Competent in using Orion
- Ability to resolve conflict in a constructive manner
- Effective time management and task prioritisation.
