This department is focused on managing “On the Day” performance and driving completion through a structured 5-day retain model, ensuring all work is proactively monitored, progressed, and completed within agreed timescales. The team operates in a fast-paced and reactive environment, requiring a flexible and agile approach to managing work stacks, resolving jeopardy, and supporting field teams to deliver a high-quality customer experience. ________________________________________ JOB OBJECTIVE As a Jeopardy Coordinator, you will be responsible for “On the Day” allocation and jeopardy management of FTTP work, ensuring jobs are actively progressed through to completion. You will take ownership of work within a 5-day retain period, including the allocation and arrangement of Additional Services, ensuring all activities are completed from start to finish. The role requires proactive management of workflows, close coordination with field teams, and a strong focus on achieving service and performance targets. ________________________________________ KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Allocate work to engineers and field teams to maximise productivity and efficiency Manage and prioritise the On the Day work stack, ensuring delivery against client SLAs and KPIs Proactively manage jeopardy across all FTTP jobs, identifying risks and driving resolution to completion Take ownership of all work within the 5-day retain period, ensuring no jobs are left incomplete without clear action Allocate and coordinate Additional Services work to Sweeper teams, ensuring timely completion Arrange and manage Additional Services appointments within the retain window to ensure full job completion Maintain direct communication with Engineers and Sweepers, ensuring punctuality, attendance, and job progression Act as a central point of contact for field teams, providing real-time support and resolution of issues Monitor work stacks, queues, and performance trackers to identify opportunities for conversion and completion Validating incomplete jobs to ensure legitimacy and accurate return to Openreach systems Deliver inbound and outbound communication performance in line with service level agreements Handle requests, queries, and escalations in a timely manner while meeting daily KPIs Ensure effective prioritisation of work to achieve client performance metrics and business objectives Operate a strong Duty of Care function for all field personnel Collaborate with internal teams (Control, Scheduling, Field Management) to ensure seamless service delivery Maintain accurate system updates and records to reflect real-time job status and progress Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and recommending solutions Ensure A55’s are submitted to Openreach in timely and accurate manner Ensure Permission to Work (PTW) documentation is obtained by the installation engineer on the day of install, prior to requesting any support from OH or UG Sweeper Teams ________________________________________ PERSON SPECIFICAITON Experience of working within a similar role. Excellent communication skills and a good telephone manner. Customer service experience - dealing with engineers is preferred but not essential.
