We are currently recruiting for Poling Operatives to join our North Wales Team. As a Poling Operative, you will be responsible for the installation and removal of poles, including dressing new poles covering the North Wales region. This is an entry-level position and all training will be provided. After an 18-week training period, earning potentials will vastly increase. This will be discussed in further detail on a telephone interview. This is a subcontracting opportunity and our course will start on 12.1.2026.
Essential Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure
- Professional communication skills
- Organised, self-motivated, and achievement-oriented
- Basic computer literacy
Key Responsibilities:
- Replace decayed, damaged, or defective poles in the Openreach network
- Install new poles to support customer connections
- Ensure all work meets client specifications and safety standards
- Maintain driving standards and legal compliance
- Adhere to Health & Safety legislation and company/client policies
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience working in the Openreach network
- Groundworks or civils experience
- IPAF 1B NPO RS N107 or equivalent
- Full NRSWA Streetworks operative-level qualification
- 360 Excavator operation
- PASMA certification
