We are excited to announce we are actively seeking an FTTP Area Manager in the Service Delivery department. The position will be field based covering the Mid Wales & Shropshire areas (Telford, Wolverhampton, Birmingham).
Salary: £37,000
Working Hours: 37.5hr per week between 8:00am-20:00pm (Monday-Friday)
Company Vehicle: Van provided

Responsibilities:
- Managing a team of engineers providing leadership, support, direction, and feedback.
- Managing the local area ensuring Service Delivery targets are achieved.
- Managing the team within budget constraints and seeking opportunities to reduce costs and maximise bottom line revenue growth.
- Ensuring all team members are skilled, kitted, and accredited to the standards expected by the client.
- Managing the performance and continuous improvement of team members through development, recognition, effective communications, field visits, and FPQ checks.
- Ensuring that each team member is aware of the team, their individual targets, and is committed to achieving them.
Technical Expertise & Service Delivery:
- Identifying opportunities for multi-skilling and cross-project working to deliver the most efficient and effective field structure across MJ Quinn.
- Ensuring safety and quality checks are carried out in accordance with MJ Quinn policy.
Experience:
- Managerial experience in a similar role (Telecommunications industry essential).
- FTTP background.
- Full UK driving license (no more than 6 points).
- Computer literate.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Willing to undertake relevant training and development.
Desirables:
- Managerial/supervisor experience.
- Knowledge of the BT network.
- Understanding of the Fibre network.
- Full UK driver’s license.
