About the Role
You will be responsible for the safe delivery of all Traffic Management in line with company policies and procedures.
The successful applicant will be experienced in traffic management and will be responsible for installing/removing temporary traffic signals and road closures to facilitate the successful delivery of work activities. The right candidate must be reliable and punctual with a good attitude to work.
Your Responsibilities will include:
- To always promote a positive and professional image of the department, by adhering
- Working as part of a team to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.
- You will oversee all areas of traffic management; Give and take, Priority, Stop/Go boards, Portable traffic signals, Convoy working, Road closures, Lane closures and diversions. Maintenance of temporary traffic lights
- You must make sure all work is carried out according to Health & Safety Standards.
- You will ensure that all activities associated with the job are carried out according to laid down procedures where possible.
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team.
- You will be happy to assist the public.
Experience and Qualifications, needed for this role:
- Traffic Management: 3 years (Preferred)
- (M1-2-5) Lantra Qualified
- Awareness of Chapter 8
- Full valid UK driving licence – with no more than 6 points.
