Departmental Overview: MJ Quinn is an established national organisation, with contracts covering the length and breadth of the UK and Ireland. We have over 1500 workers delivering our services, operating from our offices in Liverpool. At MJ Quinn we believe in creating great connections with our customers, our people, and our world. As our business has expanded we are now looking for an experienced and dynamic Team Leader to join our Noticing department.
Primary Objective: The Noticing Team Leader will, under the direction of the Streetworks Manager, be responsible for overseeing the day to day running of the Noticing team, ensuring they are fully compliant with Streetworks legislations. Liaising with the HAs, Internal teams and Partners for updates, driving internal teams performance and highlighting areas for concern, providing internal training and identifying internal process failings to the Streetworks manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building relationships with all HA’s including attending meetings
- Support Operations to meet delivery targets
- Preparing weekly and monthly performance reports to highlight peaks and troughs in areas and sending to Streetworks Manager to assess resource levels accordingly
- Weekly audits of teams’ performance including analysing refusals and modifications
- Knowledge of the functions, operation, and mission of the noticing department
- Support the noticing team and feedback any external issues that may be affecting team performance
- Manage Jeopardy reports and queues to ensure starts, stops and registrations are being successfully managed to prevent FPN’s. Supporting the team in producing daily reports and escalating when needed.
- Dealing directly with Contractors both verbally and by written instruction
- Assessing team non-compliance in regard to FPN’s issued and identifying areas of improvement
- Responding to contractor enquiries via e mail
- Support the Streetworks Manager with delivering team training and feedback where required
Person Specification:
- Streetworks/ Noticing Experience – Preferred
- Have strong planning, organisation, and monitoring abilities, with attention to detail.
- Enjoy a challenge, have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
- Have a high standard of numeracy.
- Be computer literate.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
- Can prioritise work, work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage business expectations.
- A legal right to work in the UK.
