About the Role
Here at MJ Quinn, we currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Renewables Project Manager to join our Energy Division. This position will be based in Milton Keynes working Hybrid remote and on site, reporting into the Technical Director. The primary objective of the Project Manager is to plan and coordinate projects for the Installation of Renewables and Solar PV panels from inception to delivery.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Carry out planning in accordance with the needs of your client, including setting goals and objectives, defining roles, and producing schedules and timelines for tasks.
- Lead and motivate your project team from both internal and external stakeholder organisations.
- Manage the project, which includes coordinating the project team to keep them on track and keeping the project on budget.
- Identify and manage risks to ensure delivery is on time, implementing any necessary changes throughout the process.
- Report regularly to management and the client.
- Deliver quality service ensuring that performance standards & contractual KPI’s and SLAs are met.
- Ensure all Health and Safety policies are always adhered to.

To be effective in this role the Renewables Project Manager will need to:
- Maintain and build up a good working relationship with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and senior management teams.
- Be able to work efficiently and effectively as part of a team.
- Communicate effectively with all other departments.
Person Specification
To be successful in this role the Renewables Project Manager will have:
- Previous experience of management on Mechanical and Electrical Project.
- Ground Mount Solar Farm build experience essential.
- Excellent organisation skills, to plan the use of people and resources to meet deadlines.
- The ability to use your initiative and make decisions under pressure.
- Ability to manage organisational change whilst delivering business results.
- The ability to monitor and control budgets.
- A legal right to work in the UK.
- A full clean UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
- All applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
