Commercial Analyst
Department: Commercial – Telecoms
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (specific hours to be confirmed)

The Role
MJ Quinn is seeking a Commercial Analyst to join our Commercial Telecoms team. This role will support the monitoring of financial and commercial performance across projects, providing accurate data, reporting, and insight to support effective decision‑making.
Working closely with the Commercial Manager and senior stakeholders, the Commercial Analyst will play an important role in day‑to‑day commercial administration, reporting, and performance tracking.
Key Responsibilities
- Process, validate, and input commercial and financial records using a range of IT systems
- Support the senior commercial team across all financial and commercial aspects of live projects
- Produce reports and analyse financial data to monitor performance and trends
- Track targets and objectives, ensuring these are monitored and maintained
- Assist with the preparation and processing of customer invoices and payments
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date commercial data to support business reporting
- Provide clear and accurate information to support commercial decision‑making
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- Experience working in an office‑based environment
- Strong numerical skills with high attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to manage data accurately and follow defined processes
- Willingness to learn, develop new skills, and build commercial knowledge
Desirable:
- Experience working within a financial or commercial team
- Experience using Microsoft spreadsheets in a professional environment
